As Trump praises his self-claimed accomplishments in relation to the Islamic State, a terror group that has been dying for a few years now, he might be failing to realize the now-growing threat imposed by Al-Qaeda.
The terror group Al-Qaeda is known for being a horrific threat to America's safety, seeing as they were held accountable by US officials for the deadliest terror attack in American history on September 11th, 2001 leaving nearly 3,000 dead.
Since then, they haven't exactly been so relevant. With their wing-group Al-Qaeda in Iraq slowly dying and turning into the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, the terror group most known today, they lost a lot of momentum.
However, recent revelations suggested that many fighters for ISIS may be leaving the terror group in order to work for the other; something that would, in fact, help the Americans defeat ISIS though distract them from a growing threat elsewhere.
The last known terror attack by Al-Qaeda targeted France back in 2015 when numerous gunman orchestrated a days-long siege of locations across Paris, including terrorizing the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine that left 12 dead.
Recent revelations reported by Arutz Sheva News suggested that on January 23rd, 2018 the group Al-Qaeda called on it's supporters and followers worldwide to terrorize western nations and target Jewish followers.
Other reports by the New York Times and by the Sunday Express indicate that thousands of fleeing ISIS fighters are leaving to join Al-Qaeda. It's been numerous years now that the terror group Al-Qaeda has been condemning ISIS horrific attacks on Muslims and be-headings of western civilians as 'disgusting' and 'uncalled for'.
Al Arabiya News was indicating that, throughout the past year of 2017, the main speculation of the future of terror groups would've been the rebirth of Al-Qaeda. For 2018, our analysis concluded the fear will continue.
