Former FBI-director James Comey, dismissed by President Trump in a quite controversial and potentially obstructionist move back last year in 2017, has just slammed the now-released Nunes memo.

The memo was aimed at attacking the FBI, with a report indicating that Trump's sole goal by releasing the memo was to discredit the Russia probe, an investigation that has been recently intensifying and closing in on Trump's inner-circle.

Following a recent CNN report, the FBI's Mueller investigation was reported spreading into President Trump's inner-circle following a reported interview with Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the first member of Trump's cabinet to be questioned.

In response to the controversial memo's release, something that Comey was severely against as he saw it as an effort to attack the FBI and considered a national security risk by many people, Comey tweeted "That's it?".

Comey had also made headlines with his tweet yesterday defending America's intelligence agencies of which often have come under attack by the Trump administration and government, citing "weasels and liars never hold the field".
