Robert Mueller's major Russia investigation and probe is now spreading, not only into Trump's inner-circle, but into the Presidential cabinet. Recent revelations confirmed reports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions was questioned by Robert Mueller's investigation team last week in regards to connections with Russia.
Although many currently believe he was questioned about the Russia probe, it is extremely possible that Mueller may have also extended his questioning into the field of whether or not Trump had obstructed justice when it came to Sessions' recusal.
Reports against Sessions alongside President Trump are at all times damaging, with yesterday's bombshell report that the FBI Director Chris Wray had threatened to resign over un-reported pressure from the President and the Attorney General of which had a clear aim; open a 2nd special counsel to replace Mueller.
The bombshells don't stop there; with a major story surrounding Trump's lawyer's payoff of a Porn-star following an alleged sexual relationship between 'Stormy Daniels' and the President while Melania Trump, his wife, was pregnant.
Trump's lawyer did not reject the payoff claim using a falsified company, though did say the relationship allegations were 'completely baseless'.
All the meanwhile we know exactly why you're here; where's Mueller's inquiry going now that it has spread into Trump's cabinet? What does it mean? Is this a new phase for the Russia probe and how serious is this bombshell report?
Well, we already know that Sessions is in a lot of heat after reports by CNN and other news agencies including the New York Times had broke the news that Sessions was 'looking for dirt' on Comey only days before he was fired, after Trump's lawyers lied to the President and told him he couldn't fire Comey without a good reason.
Mueller took up the entire Comey firing as an obstruction of justice investigation, with recent revelations also suggesting that Trump did not want Sessions to recuse himself from the Russia probe but instead 'wanted him to protect him' like Roy Cohn.
The Mueller-step into Trump's cabinet is a big deal, seeing as it's the first time anybody part of the President's cabinet during the Trump administration has been questioned by the Special Counsel. Reports indicated the questioning lasted many hours.
As the special counsel takes it's new goal of making its way to the top of the line, with a potential interview of the President himself coming shortly, it's surely a new phase for the Russia probe as they step into the cabinet. It can change everything.
Stay tuned for live updates on the special counsel's Russia probe as new revelations continue to break (literally every day).
