Recent allegations by the co-founder of the infamous Trump dossier are now hinting at the potential of a serious crime by Trump's campaign team; money laundering. Think it's a far stretch? Here's why it isn't.
Steve Bannon, though you may deem discredited whether you're are Democrat or a Republican, has mentioned in the past that Mueller, the special counsel and general investigators that are looking into Trump and his family as well as his campaign's ties with Russia should look into money. "Follow the money" has been Bannon's trend.
The former White House official as well as now-former chief of Breitbart News, seen as very right-leaning news agency, has also said that Trump is almost indefinitely going to be impeached; saying that the Republican party will inevitably ditch him once they pass their agenda to make themselves look worthy of their future votes.
Bannon allegedly told Michael Wolff in a recently released and now infamous book known as 'Fire and Fury' that Trump would be impeached soon; asking why it hasn't happened already. "Just bring it on already," he told the author.
He had also, in the past, hinted that if Russian investigators begin looking into the President's son-in-law's ties with Russian officials in terms of money; that Jared Kushner would inevitably found guilty. It's unsure whether or not the Special Counsel or House Intel Committee ever looked into Kushner's finances.
President Trump had told many reporters when the Russia inquiry began that he would definitely not approve of the investigators looking into his personal finances. He called the then-potential move a 'red line'. Mueller definitely crossed it already.
Donald Trump has also been one of very few Presidents not to release his tax returns; hindering the process of transparency between his life finances, his worth, and how much he pays taxes to the American voting population. Whether or not the tax returns could eventually be released as evidence of money laundering or anything else is something that can seemingly hurt Trump's presidency.
All the meanwhile, Trump himself as well as the GOP and the right-leaning media such as Fox News are continuing to deny any potential collusion. We've yet to see a big pushback for the reports out of the dossier of money laundering, but can expect a similar continuous denial of such crimes.
If money laundering could be proven, whether or not it has any ties to Russia, in regards to President Trump - he could be impeached on a completely separate manner than the Trump-Russian collusion inquiries we see today.
