At Least 41 Killed as Explosions Rock Kabul, ISIS Claims Responsibility

PHOTO: Second ISIS attack in Kabul within 3 days kills dozens.

ISIS has just claimed responsibility for a massive terror strike in Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul. It comes literally three days after the terror group claimed a separate attack that left six killed, three injured in the same city.

A Christmas day terror attack in Kabul was called a 'desperate attempt to inflict harm from a failed caliphate' by numerous Afghan officials. Only days later, it's safe to say that the terrorists have proven their significance and shown - not only Afghanistan - but the entire world that they aren't finished and still have strength.

The presumption that the terror group is now inactive are horribly false, our analysis concludes the terrorists may be losing in Syria and Iraq but remain with strong operating military cells in Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria, Libya and even other countries specifically across north-most Africa.

The attack today targeted citizens at a cultural center. Officials and police forces said that a suicide bomber detonated his explosive in the basement of the center, under a gathered crowd of upwards of 100 citizens.

The crowd had gathered there were mostly all celebrating the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. However, two explosions had also been reported nearby.

Increased violence across Kabul and other major Afghan cities and regions have been significant this year. Officials said that on record, 2017 is shaping to be yet the most deadly year of terror attacks in Afghanistan - a majorly war-torn nation. It includes terror attacks by the Taliban and other terror groups, which have also claimed dozens of Afghan lives throughout the recent months of this year.
