Melbourne Car Attack Injures 18

For the second time this year, an apparent attack using a vehicle has devastated numerous citizens in one of Australia's biggest cities; Melbourne. The city also suffered an attack in January of 2017 in an extremely similar fashion.
Only a few days before the creation of this article, reports came into our sources of a potential deliberate car strike of pedestrians in Melbourne, Australia. Our researchers instantly began hooking onto the new developments, up until the breaking news stories were confirmed enough for this article to be honestly developed.
As it currently stands; the car crash was a deliberate, intentional act of violence and was meant to injure pedestrians. The suspect, who is of Afghan descent, has recently been vocal of his denouncement of how Muslims are treated worldwide; though absolutely no clear terror link was provided by Australian investigators. The suspect is also known for having diagnosed mental disorders.
Due to this, it'd be extremely unfair and incorrect to call this a terror attack as for the moment; there is no current political motive behind the massacre. In fact, his mental issue is likely the main cause behind his act of violence in downtown Melbourne.
Only recently; officials in Australia foiled an extremely deadly and severe plot to terrorize the city of Melbourne near Christmas time. It's one of many recent foiled plots to attack cities of Western countries as the Christian holiday approaches; including a recently foiled San Francisco Christmas day attack.
The foiled Melbourne attack surrounds a near-to-the-scene street and famous tourist attractions; including Flinders Street Station; the location right near the recent attack. Back in January, nearby, six were killed when a car deliberately struck citizens outside of a very trafficked shopping mall - also in the city of Melbourne. An Australian terror attack also killed 2 recently at a hotel; when a terrorist held a hostage to lure police.
After the January terror attack that resulted in six fatalities and numerous other injuries; Melbourne adapted and placed concrete barriers on the side of almost all sidewalks of highly pedestrian-trafficked regions of the city. This didn't stop the most recent attack that ended with 18 people being hospitalized.
According to witnesses and police, the suspect drove his vehicle into pedestrians of which were primarily crossing the very trafficked street. Eighteen injuries had been officially reported; with other news agencies hearing a number as large as 25.
"It was just like bang, bang, bang" one of the nearby witnesses recounted to news agencies across the world - describing the moment when the speeding car began slamming into citizens. The attack reminded virtually all modern western countries of their own attacks involving vehicles being used as weapons.
