G.O.P. efforts to shut down Moore halted by Deputy AG Rosenstein
Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein has just pitched a shut down of the G.O.P.'s efforts to terminate FBI director Mueller's investigation into Russian collusion and obstruction of justice. The efforts came after an incident involving the hidden dismissal of two FBI agents for released anti-Trump texts before the inquiries began.
Since then, right-wing media agencies have pitched an effort to destroy Robert Mueller's entire investigation alongside all of the Special Counsel due to a reported 'bias' within the agents involved in the President's investigation. Fox News and Breitbart, some of the most popular right-wing news agencies, were some of the first members of the G.O.P. calling on a dismissal of the entire Special Counsel.
A Fox News contributor said, on live TV, that every member of the investigations should be fired and that the entire inquiry should 'restart' - triggering a wide-range condemnation from Democrats, Independents and some moderate-Republicans of which stated Republicans were attempting to discredit Mueller.
According to one of the Mount Royal Times contributors and columnists, the Republican effort to discredit Robert Mueller in effort to make any potential future prosecutions and conclusions 'inaccurate' due to the 'bias' in the inquiry.
In our opinion, the political views that FBI agents have before they engage in such an important election should definitely not matter as much as the G.O.P. is trying to make it seem like. Robert Mueller, known as a Republican voter in the past, is the head of the investigation into the Republican President Donald Trump.
A few Republicans said that the G.O.P. members, specifically in the House of Reps, may lead Democrats to hurry their inquiries and achieve higher potentials before any closure of their investigations can arrive. Although that is fully speculation, others said that the Republican statements are seen nationally as an attempt to obstruct the investigation in order to hide any guilt.
Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein was asked harshly by many G.O.P. House representatives on the issue of whether or not they should terminate Mueller's inquiry over a 'clear-cut bias' as one said. "Can you honestly tell me that there is no bias in the investigations by the Special Counsel?" one representative asked him with anger.
Rosenstein replied by strictly citing the fact that whether or not some of the agents hold specific political views isn't a bias in an investigation, and said that it's Mueller's job to make sure that their political views don't influence or obstruct the work of the employees in the investigation directly, which there currently is no proof of.
The controversy rose as text messages revealed the FBI agents calling then-Presidential nominee Trump an 'idiot', as well as over 300 text messages seen as partisan and bias against President Trump.
After an analysis by numerous left-wing news organizations, more research into the revealed text messages shows the agents also attacking Chelsea Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and numerous other political figures. Although many Republicans chose to ignore the revealed facts; many replied saying they favored Hillary.
Left-wing media as well as anti-Trump citizens and Democrats replied to the G.O.P.'s desperate attempt to discredit Mueller, again, by saying that the political views of the prosecutors or investigators simply wouldn't alter any evidence held against Trump or any other members of his cabinet and his presidency.
Also, they mentioned that Mueller and his team being fired from the investigation would not make any sense seeing as the FBI director fired those two agents of which were caught with anti-Trump, partisan self-politic views. So why should Mueller's team be disbanded? Because they hired two agents of which both talked politics outside of the workplace and actually had a political opinion on the issues in America? Or is it because they're afraid of Mueller's new developments.
Coincidentally, the reports and claims of Mueller being 'bias' and 'partisan' in favor of the Democrats comes as their inquiries have recently spread directly into Trump's inner-circle with the guilty plea of Mike Flynn and a continuous deep inquiry into Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner as well as Trump Jr, the President's son.
The argument of the 'conflict of interest' for Mueller as he was friendly with former-FBI director James Comey, of which is the center of one of the impeachable offense inquiries into the President over obstruction of justice can be easily dismissed by the point that whether or not Mueller may want to go after Trump harder for his friend who may have been illegally fired; it wouldn't change proven evidence that the FBI would show any court official in the case of any prosecution.
