Bernie Sanders joins Senators calling on Trump to resign

(Independent) Senator Bernie Sanders has just joined 3 other Democrat Senators that have joined together to call upon currently seated US President Donald J. Trump to 'immediately resign' over resurfaced allegations of sexual assault.

Sanders is known for having switched into the Democratic Party during the 2016 election, knowing his chances of winning as an Independent were slim to nothing. He gained quite a lot of popularity during the Dem primaries, but inevitably lost to his opponent Hillary Clinton who may have gotten help from the DNC to be elected.

Although the tension rose with the DNC over their help of Clinton, he did endorse her for the office of the President admitting he did support her beliefs and did side with her on taking down then-Republican nominee Donald Trump. Unfortunately for them, their efforts failed - though not miserably, losing in a tight race against Trump.

Sanders now registers himself as an Independent party member after ditching the DNC and never having sided with the RNC, saying he really doesn't think either parties are focusing on what the right thing to do in all major national issues are. In fact, his determination to slam both parties on usually partisan issues is why he's so popular.

For example, on the issue of tax reforms, Bernie Sanders has been extremely vocal on slamming Hillary Clinton's views for the US economy as well as slamming Trump's tax reform plans time and time again in a stance against their aim of helping rich families and taking away from the middle-class and the low-class American families.

Not only this, but Sanders has had a quite strong stance on Trump's presidency. Although he only recently mentioned that Democrats 'shouldn't jump the gun' on any potential impeachment attacks of Trump, he also just joined other Democrat Senators on calling upon Donald Trump to either resign immediately, or agree to have an extremely detailed and severe Congress investigation into allegations against him.

Bernie said that if Dems jump on any impeachment train when it's too early it can end with a huge failure and may hinder impeachment processes in the future. The response came in return of a Texan House Rep.'s suggestion and promotion of impeachment articles against Trump's response to Puerto Rico and other character-based issues. The articles did fail miserably, but 58 House Dems voted 'yes'.

In the future, it'd be no shocker that numerous articles of impeachment are presented to the House of Representatives related to Russian collusion and obstruction of justice cases already being made against the sitting President according to House officials.

If these cases are presented too early, it can hinder any plaintiff arguments re-presented in the future. Consider it like this: If the House has to vote for the impeachment of Trump based on Russia before heavy evidence is proven and it fails miserably; it's unlikely they'll agree to another House vote on the issue.

Even if you agree with Bernie Sanders and Nancy Pelosi that Dems simply shouldn't jump on any chance to impeach Trump, according to Bernie that doesn't mean you shouldn't back calls for the US President to resign over accusations of sexual misconduct brought forward by new reports of anywhere between 13-20 women.

The women have accused him of sexual assault, harassment, abuse and even as far as potential attempted rape. 13 of these women recently re-took the stage of their issue feeling it was unfairly dismissed by Trump's campaign when they surfaced during the 2016 election. At least 3 of these women held detailed press briefings that sparked a trail and pattern of US Senators encouraging a Trump resignation.

Gillibrand, a Democrat sitting in the US Senate, responded to the press briefing by three of Trump's accusers by saying that their reports were numerous, concerning and that Trump should resign immediately. Nikki Haley, Republican US ambassador to the UN, said that the US should give these women the time of day to listen to their stories saying they have every right to be heard on. Meanwhile, Trump's defense circle slams the women for once again resurfacing.

Sarah Sanders attacked all questions related to Trump's accusations saying he directly denied the accusations and had recently stated the White House's position on Trump's wrongdoing was that all of the allegations were faked and created to damage the president's campaign and entire presidency.
