GOP tries to discredit Mueller probe as bias, partisan
Recently, the FBI special counsel investigating the President for obstruction of justice and Russian collusion fired one of their top members after being notified of the member's anti-Trump text messages. Reports indicated the member had texted up to 10,000 text messages seen as partisan and anti-Trump.
To anybody, political sides being the reason for being fired seems quite idiotic. However for this specific field, investigating a political official of this magnitude should require a bipartisan view of the one being investigated.
So politics plays an enormous issue in this. However, our opinion is that even if the entire team of investigators were Democrats, would it really change the outcome of the investigation? Of course bipartisan team of investigators would definitely help the eye of the public see the investigation as fair and even as well as balanced, a partisan inquiry would be just as balanced - unless they're accused of fabricating their evidence.
And that's the case many Republicans are accusing the Mueller team of investigators of doing as they investigate Donald Trump's incidents. But why are they doing this? Because we all know the truth is that they simply are not accusing Mueller's team of being unfair and bias because they truly believe that it has any impact on their inquiries.
There's a clear cut sign and indication of why the Republican base is trying to attack Mueller's team: they are trying to discredit Mueller's investigation in order to try and attack and disqualify all of their future charges in an attempt to make the investigation's results seem bias, partisan and simply an attempt to destroy Trump.
Right-wing news companies like Breitbart and Fox News have been determined in an attempt to destroy Mueller's investigations for as long as we can remember. Their path is to try and make all Republicans agree against the inquiry's results, seeing as if any Republicans decide that the results were truthful and decide to vote for impeachment of the Trump presidency can result in a domino effect tumbling over his oval office spot.
If Republicans all can back each other up and see Mueller's inquiry results as a partisan issue and not a national investigation into Trump's affairs, then Democrats won't be able to make a pitch to impeach Trump unless they take control of the House and magically own 2/3 of the US Senate.
And for now, and for most of America's history, it seems quite inevitable that there simply will not be the successful impeachment of a US president if the inquiry that lead American voters there would be seen as a partisan, bias result of a man who was put in position by a friend.
Right now, Mueller has been directly attacked specifically by Fox News and it's viewers for being 'friends' with former-FBI director James Comey, who was ousted from his position by Trump and accused Trump of only firing him after he requested the FBI to end their investigation into Russian connections. This was seen as an accusation of obstruction of justice; a case then picked up by Mueller.
