California wildfires are the 'new normal' for residents, Gov says

California has been caught up in natural disasters many times in it's history. Although one of the first things that may come to mind when thinking of a natural disaster in the state may be earthquakes, another one is wildfires seen as extremely damaging to the state's infrastructure, citizen life, and is able to kill many people.

Recently, new wildfires have wreaked havoc across the entire state with so much destruction that it has been called a natural disaster and a national emergency by the government of the United States.

According to reliable sources, anywhere between six to eight major wildfire locations have been called emergency incidents needed to have been responded to immediately. At the moment, official tally counts made into the Mount Royal Times signifies that at least 1 person has died as a result of the fire.

As all of our news stories, there definitely is a politics side to the fires and the response to the fire. Although it was declared a national emergency, and the state was put under state of emergency entirely due to the fire, the President's response simply wasn't seen adequate enough by political critics as well as environmental critics.

To put the fact of disasters and politics together, we need to also include scientific facts about climate change and global warming. Scientists have time and time proven that natural disasters will get worse and worse, specifically in the United States, as the global climate continues to heat up internationally.

Hurricanes will continue to strengthen. According to officials, by the year 2030, a majority of hurricanes that touch the mainland US will be considered 'major' hurricanes and tropical storms between category 4 and category 5.

For fires, more and more droughts will continue to form throughout specifically dry areas in America like California, Nevada, and a few other states. These droughts often times develop into wildfires that can spread into nearby forests causing immense damages. However, Trump's campaign was clear, they think global warming is a hoax.

Throughout current President Trump's campaign, then-candidate had pushed forth the ideology that global warming is a hoax perpetrated by China to gain money for new developments of energies that don't require natural gases or greenhouse gases. He also mentioned that global warming hoax's aim was to destroy the mining industry.

For some reason, many of his supporters stuck by this ideology even as this year's natural disasters took a toll on not only America, but the entire world. These fires are yet another and most recent example that global warming is effective and that action needs to be taken immediately to avoid the problems getting worse.

The governor of California made it pretty clear when addressing the state's current status of wildfires that have now become deadly; "It's the new normal around here".
