Democratic Senator Al Franken has been accused of sexual misconduct by a minimum of six women at this time, as allegations continue piling up on the Senator that has claimed to be extremely pro-women and anti-sexual misconduct in the past.

The accusations came with little news coverage by left-wing media sources up until California radio sports news anchor Leeann Tweeden who had photo evidence that then-comedian Al Franken had groped her in a 'humiliating incident'. The photo shows Franken lightly groping Tweeden's breasts and smirking.

She also accused him of forcefully kissing her and harassing her for the kiss while rehearsing for a skit they were performing. She said that they had a kissing scene in the show which she preferred not to practice with Franken, but he 'insisted' on practicing the scene. When she finally agreed, she said he kissed her forcefully.

Following the allegations, Franken came out with an extremely heartfelt apology to anybody he says he may have made uncomfortable in the past. He expressed sympathy for Tweeden even if he says he didn't recall of the situation, particularly the kissing scene incident, the way she recalled it.

Tweeden got emotional when recounting the story live on CNN, saying that she was really hoping that her coming out would change the future that her daughter would live in, saying that she was disgusted by the sexual misconduct men spread recently.

However, she says she does think Franken's apology was heartfelt and saying she did not come out (more than 10 years later) to 'ruin his life', but said the only reason she was coming out with the story was to protect future generations.

Now, a sixth woman has accused Franken of sexual misconduct. Following the onslaught of sexual harassment allegations against the Senator, dozens of officials within the US Senate have now began calling on Franken to resign. They include numerous Democrat senators.

The move to force Franken to resign comes as the GOP are now backtracking on their condemnation of Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, accused by eight women of sexual assault. Following the President's defense of Moore, the Democrats made a move against one of their own - Franken - to show Republicans that they don't care about political labels when it comes to crimes like sexual misconduct.
