President Trump formally endorses accused child molestor Roy Moore

Roy Moore is one of the most controversial members of the GOP at the moment. In fact, most GOP members even resulted in abandoning Moore following at least eight allegations of sexual misconduct, many of which were against children.

One woman has accused Roy Moore of sexually abusing and assaulting her when she was only 16 years of age. According to her, outside of an Alabamian restaurant, he forcefully grabbed her neck and attempted to force her onto his crotch and his body. "I thought he was going to rape me", Beverly Young Nelson said when telling the press of her story. She provided evidence that she had met Moore following his accusation that he didn't remember meeting her ever.

Her piece of evidence was condemned by Moore and his campaign, including by many women on his campaign, as 'illegitimate' and 'fake'. Although they are rash decisions, as denying evidence in a case as serious as sexual misconduct can easily draw some of the largest controversies ever, the campaign considers it a success.

This specifically because many of the Republican Alabamians that were confused and skeptical on keeping their vote for Roy Moore following the allegations had decided to rethink their decision to abandon the Republican Senate candidate. Before the news broke, Moore was 8% above his Democrat opponent, Doug Jones. Following the news, he fell -11% under Jones. Now, he stands around 3% under Doug Jones following an endorsement from Donald Trump.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had condemned Roy Moore, included in some of our previous reports saying he was unfit to serve in the Senate - even threatening to open an ethics inquiry and expel Roy if he got elected.

Steve Bannen, a very controversial figure that supports President Trump defended Roy Moore and going as far as calling out top-tier Republicans for conspiring against the Alabamian Senate candidate to avoid his election for personal reasons in order to attempt to de-professionalize the GOP Senators.

Although skeptical at first, knowing that speaking on the topic of sexual misconduct might bring back up his own at least 14-18 accusations, President Trump was silent as news broke about Roy Moore. However controversy spilled when two women accused Democrat Senator Al Franken for groping them.

Trump violently attacked Al Franken, going as far as calling him to resign and calling him a hypocrite as well as lying on all of his defense of women's rights in the past. We simply won't compare Franken and Moore accusations, but it's no shock that groping allegations (sexual misconduct) isn't as serious as sexual assault, harassment or abuse.

After backlash spread off of Trump's silence on Moore and his attacks on Franken, politics became a huge issue between sexual misconduct allegations. Kellyane Conway then came out, accused of breaking a law while doing so, and defended Roy Moore while on White House lawn saying the GOP 'needed the Senate votes'.

Although it seemed horrific, with White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders saying that the official White House thoughts on the situation did not coordinate with what Kellyane had said, but did defend her saying she didn't break any laws.

But, not by any form of shock, Sarah Sanders was met with her words circling around to strike her in the back when Donald Trump told the Press that he preferred Doug Jones lose to the accused child molester Roy Moore, saying Jones was 'weak on crime, weak on immigration' while defending Moore. Also mentioning that Republicans needed Moore's vote on tax reform and needed him in the Senate.

Although he did not formally endorse Moore, although doing all to defend him other than formally endorsing him, Trump did hold that to a later day. Scheduling a meeting days before the Alabama Senate race in Pensacola, Florida near the Alabamian border - Trump formally endorsed Moore via Twitter as the day neared.

Trump said that he really thinks that Roy Moore should win Alabama's Senate race, once more mentioning that Doug Jones is 'weak on crime', which draws controversy as he says this defending someone accused of committing a disgusting criminal act.

Roy Moore and his campaign have offered their sincere 'thank you' to the US President, saying compliments to the President for supporting their candidate running for US Senate for the seat of Alabama. Meanwhile, many believe Trump may have endorsed Roy Moore in anger as the news on Flynn breaks. Insiders within the White House have been saying that Trump is 'very on edge', even if he claims he has 'no anxiety'.

Trump did, in fact, endorse the Alabama candidate while on a Twitter anger spree also attacking Hillary Clinton, James Comey, the FBI, the Justice Department, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Democratic Party, Robert Mueller, Brian Ross, ABC News, Kate Steinle and even the British Prime Minister Theresa May.
