It's now the second time, and is definitely more imminent. A major member of the Trump White House and yet another man of which Trump has defended time and time again, Michael Flynn has just pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about Russian connections.
But this came as a twist. Not too long ago, George Papadopolous was held accountable and also pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. He was, according to numerous reliable sources, wearing a wire since his indictment in July of 2017. This may have some serious connections to the evidence proving Flynn's perjury.
According to officials, it is now a confirmed fact that Michael Flynn, of which did work inside of the Trump White House as a National Security Advisor and also helped Trump during the 2016 election campaign, lied to the Mueller probe and the FBI.
He testified under oath in a courtroom that he did not know of any connections with Russia and the Trump campaign, also saying he was not among any of those that may have contacted Russia. He stated that he was not aware of any form of collusion between the two groups. Now, he pleads guilty to lying about all of that.
Official sources have confirmed that Flynn decided to agree for a lesser sentence meanwhile cooperating with Bob Mueller's probe, similar to Papadopolous' move.
Only hours after we got news that Flynn had decided to cooperate with Mueller, we found out that Jared Kushner was the top tier campaign official that directed Flynn to cooperate and urged contacts between the campaign/government and Russia.
There is yet to have any words on the issue by Donald Trump, Jared Kushner directly though we do know it is likely going to come. The White House says that Trump was briefed on the issue, and showed 'no anxiety' following the news.
It is speculated that Trump may need to urge action to terminate Jared's employment and cooperating in the White House, with huge speculation that he may be the next one to be indicted by the Mueller probe into Russian connections.
Only a while ago, emails surfaced regarding the issue of which Kushner was seen telling other officials to avoid meeting with Russians in June of 2016 to gather dirt that may effect Hillary Clinton's bid for presidency.
Kushner's attorney replied to the news surfacing of the emails of which proved the campaign's efforts to cooperate with an alleged Russian government lawyer in regards to an effort to promote Trump's campaign by hailing Kushner as a 'hero'. "He's the hero, here, if you really read the emails" - suggesting Kushner's suggestion to not hold the meeting had proved his innocence in the entire case.
Now, we wait for any notice from the attorney that tried to prove him innocent. Clearly, he is not innocent. Kushner is the one who first ordered Michael Flynn to organize connections with Russia regarding sanctions on the nation.
