President of the US says he shouldn't have liberated 3 citizens from China jail

The 45th President of the United States has just said that he should've left quite a few U.S. citizens in a Chinese jail after an argument sparked between the President and the father of one of the UCLA basketball players.

According to officials, three UCLA basketball players were arrested in Hangzhou, China after being accused of stealing sunglasses at a Louis Vuitton store. Around the same time, Trump was in China on his Asia-Pacific foreign trip. He claims he personally asked the Chinese President to release the players, which he later did.

The President tweeted in a seemingly preliminary attack on the players saying he hoped they'd give their thanks to him for doing so, but doubting they would. Many critics said he was asking them to praise him for doing what any leader would've logically done.

Once the basketball players got back to the U.S. after being released by Chinese officials in the city of Hangzhou, they held a press briefing each thanking Trump for helping them out and helping them to be released, meanwhile also saying their apologies to their supporters and fans as well as the basketball team.

Trump appeared to be quite happy with the players' response, saying that in life everyone hits bumps that we must overcome - sympathizing with the players of which were under suspicion of shoplifting in the Chinese store.

Things took a twist once LaVar Ball, the father of one of the players (LiAngelo) downplayed Trump's aid in the situation via ESPN. "Don't tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out." It was no surprise to many as LaVar is known for being very aggressive, illegitimate and egotistical.

However, in a very presidential move, the 45th President of the United States tweet-attacked LaVar Ball, also mentioning that he should not have let the 3 UCLA players out of the Chinese jail. Critics instantaneously attacked him, saying it was a horrific move for him to suggest he shouldn't have helped liberate 3 American citizens from a foreign jail because the families of the citizens didn't praise his acts.

"Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal, I should have left them in jail!" the President tweeted.
