Fox News doesn't make Google's top 10 most influential news organizations list
Fox News has risen large amounts of controversy since the 2016 election when they officially voiced their support for then-candidate Donald Trump. Since then, it's been under extreme heat for being 'state-run' and 'Trump propaganda'. It's no denial here when saying they are a partisan organization for the right-wing supporters.
One perfect example of how Fox News is mostly partisan is as their recent coverage on the Moore and Al Franken allegations. When it came to Moore, it did take longer for the news organization's hosts (like Sean Hannity) to condemn him. But when Al Franken came out, it became the topic of discussion and overruled Moore's accusations almost entirely with analysts of our organization confirming 76% of their coverage relating to sexual harassment was on Franken as of Saturday, November 19th.
Hannity's show was described by many sources as the most controversial news-based show on cable television within the U.S. in the month of November, with left-wing campaigns opening ad boycotts gathering 30+ signatures from companies in attempt to stop advertising on Fox New's channel during Hannity's show.
CNN is yet another news agency under extreme heat for partisan views, which is almost always confirmed when large news stories come out. They are quite focused on major Russian collusion developments, gathering hate from Trump's supporters.
But this year, CNN scored number 8 on the top 10 Google list of the world's most influential news agencies. With the Associated Press (AP) scoring first place, another Trump-hated organization the New York Times in 2nd place, Reuters at #3, Wall Street Journal at #4, Bloomberg News at #5, BBC news at #6, Agence France Presse at #7, CNN laying 8th spot, Washington Post scored #9 with TMZ in 10th.
Fox News not making the cut for the top 10 might have something to do with Trump's approval rating, and his coordination with the news agency. Many people who no longer support Trump (67% of American voters, according to our analysis) prefer to watch and gather news from a more bipartisan news agency like the New York Times, Associated Press or others. CNN also remains quite low on the list.
One main reason CNN is higher than Fox News on this list is Fox has became America's leading brand with local-news agencies running with Fox in nearly every region of the country. CNN took a more International spotlight while opening CNN Philippines, International, London and much more.
Fox's title as America's most watched news agency has been threatened, however, as cable channel CNN is threatening to steal the title due to the partisan news on Fox's channel losing support from people no longer supporting the US President.
