Strong magnitude 6.5 quake hits Costa Rica
Only a small while after a tragic earthquake killed hundreds and injured thousands of people in Iraq and Iran, with the epicenter located near the Iraqi-Iranian border, another strong earthquake rattles Costa Rica.
According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the 6.5 registered magnitude earthquake was located up to 25 miles off the coast of Costa Rica.
Officials had stated that at least 3 people had suffered heart attacks of which are being blamed on the quake itself and the fear caused by the shaking. Costa Rica has been under threat of earthquakes for the past few months, with MR Times seismologists registering swarms of miniature quakes within small amounts of times.
The 'pacific ring of fire', of which extends from Chile to Alaska to Japan and all the way south as New Zealand has been active in recent years; a lot more active than usual.
Another trend worrying many people, specifically in California and Asian nations like Japan and the Philippines, usual series of earthquakes with large magnitudes come with pairs of 3. In recent years; this has been proven.
Following the Iraq-Iran quake, and now the Costa Rica quake, many are speculating another quite major earthquake may shake up another region globally.
Specific regions extending across the Pacific ocean's bordering countries are worried of being victims of this form of natural disaster. Do note; this is fully speculation and fear put in place by the earthquake's magnitudes in Iran and now Costa Rica.
Not too long ago, fatal quakes shook near the Philippines and even Ecuador, both countries extending across the Pacific ring and plate.
