House of Cards might continue without Kevin Spacey
It's unfortunate, but needed to be done. The main actor of which plays the main character Francis Underwood on the Netflix hit show 'House of Cards' was accused of making sexual advances on a 14-year old child, among also making sexual advancements, harassment accusations, etc. upon the actor.
But for the Netflix show viewers, this was an apocalyptic move. Netflix had decided to nearly terminate the show completely following the accusations. It first began with a delay of the show's production halfway through the 6th season. Then, Netflix announced that the 6th season would be the final season of the series.
However, the company giant then declared their intentions to terminate the show at the episode it was at: without a season finale, or an ending really. Fans reacted horribly after finding out they might not find out what happens to the actors.
But House of Cards' producers and writers had a solution and proposed the potential to write Kevin Spacey out of the series or maybe just replace him with a similar-looking actor so the fans don't get so upset. Netflix agreed to the decision to either write Kevin Spacey's character (Francis Underwood) out suddenly or replace him.
The most ideal solution for the fans would be replacing him to keep Francis Underwood's character alive as the main plot of the show revolved around him. Others disagree, saying they think the character should only be played by Kevin Spacey.
Spacey's outburst was the follow up of the #MeToo trend that trigerred the Internet by storm destroying the lives of many Hollywood actors accused of sexual advancements as well as shocking the political world with catastrophic results.
It all began with Harvey Weinstein's outburst, when Republicans used his accusations to demonetize the Liberal government officials. Harvey was a Clinton supporter and had donated to the Clinton foundation in the past. At least 13 accusations were lead against him including rape, sexual harassment and some women have stated that Harvey forced them to watch him masturbate in front of them.
The outburst most recently shocked Hollywood with accusations that Charlie Sheen raped or sexually assaulted late actor Corey Haim when he was only 13 years old. Charlie has publicly and 'absolutely' denied the allegations.
The outburst also most recently shocked the political world when a Republican Alabama governor was accused, sparring controversy as he refused to get out of the race and claimed the (at least) eight allegations were completely false. Republican officials called on Moore, the accused, to step down should the allegations be true. This to avoid a potential Republican loss on the December 12th election in Alabama.
